“I care”, a film targeting headteachers and created by Can Can for More Than A Score has won more than 40,000 views in just two weeks.
It also helped attract more than 200 school leaders to a webinar on assessment, which featured Kate Green, Shadow Secretary of State for Education and Daisy Cooper Lib Dem education spokesperson, alongside headteachers and Can Can’s founder Alison Ali.
I Care’s emotional, engaging portrayal of just how much primary school headteachers care about their pupils, great teaching and great learning has struck a chord.
The film is now being re-purposed to target a wider audience and drive up petition signatures in More Than A Score’s call to drop SATs and other formal tests in the midst of the pandemic.
