Our online rally for the More Than A Score campaign brought together MPs from all sides of the House, the leaders of the main three teaching unions and over 1000 school leaders, teachers, parents and supporters.
But in such a high-profile line-up, the most moving and engaging contributions came from year 6 pupils expressing, from the heart, how they feel about facing SATs in the midst of a pandemic. We were reminded once again about the power of children’s voices and how they can unite those with ideological differences behind a common goal.
