Parent groups calling for reform of SATs exams win mass media coverage.
We brought together celebrities like Anna Maxwell Martin with SEND parent groups to write a powerful letter to the Secretary of State. We took SEND parents and children to Parliament to press their case, armed with well-researched evidence, wining the support of a cross-party group of MPs as well as lots of media coverage. We also created a moving film and lots of reels telling the stories of how SATs damage SEND kids and lead to school avoidance.
