Arts and Minds, the coalition of national organisations representing the arts and education sectors stepped up its campaign to restore the status of arts subjects in schools.
As it welcomed the Royal Shakespeare Company as its 50th member, the campaign hosted a sector event to debate “What’s next for arts in schools?” The debate brought together major arts organisations and educators for in-depth policy discussions It also included a keynote from Michael Rosen, a recital by Tomorrow’s Warrior musicians and an impromptu performance from Bob and Roberta Smith.
